One morning after breakfast, young and middle-aged people who had asked to join the Red Army surrounded the Red Expansion Workstation of the Soviet Government of Mazhou District. At this time, an old man of moderate stature and tough physique pushed aside the crowd and squeezed in front of Comrade Ou Su.

"Comrade, my name is Zeng Hanlu (a native of Zengfeng Village), and I ask to be a Red Army!" Comrade Ou Su stood before meeting an old man, who was fifty miles away, and asked:

"Old Comrade Zeng, may I ask GuiGeng?"

"The old man is sixty-four years old and belongs to the sheep."

The comrades of the District Soviet were deeply touched by the sixty-four-year-old man's request to become a Member of the Red Army, and because he was too old, the comrades of the District Soviet did not agree to the old Man's request and patiently explained:

Convincing a descendant did not satisfy Lao Zeng, who went to the neighborhood to continue to mobilize. I forgot to go home to eat even my meal, and I didn't come home until late at night. Early the next morning, Lao Zeng invited a group of descendants to rush to Ou Su. Patting the shoulder of the comrade at the Expansion Station, he said: "Comrade, you are too old, and if you bring fourteen less people today, you can always 'hitchhik'." "When the comrades of Ou Su saw that the old man had been a confidant of the Red Army, he accepted the old comrade out of the box and arranged for him in the transport team of the Red Third Army.

After Zeng Han rotted to join the Red Army, he was happy all day, active in his work, hard work and resentment, like a young man, and had endless strength.

In October 1934, the Central Red Army carried out a strategic shift, and Comrade Zeng once again entangled the leader and marched with the captain. In 1935, Comrade Zeng Hanluo accidentally rolled off the cliff due to excessive fatigue on the snowy mountain road, and fulfilled the vow of "willing to shed the last drop of blood for the revolution".
