Prior to its Release on Feb. 4, Techland unveiled the Fading Light 2 skill tree and experience system.
In Gone with the Wind 2, there are two skill trees that focus on parkour and combat, and experience is earned primarily through actions associated with these skills. Crossing the map by jumping, climbing, and running freely will reward you with experience points that will go to the parkour experience bar, while fighting humans and infected enemies will earn you experience in the battle experience bar.
Of course, completing missions adds experience to both strips, but the more players traverse and battle, the faster you'll unlock new abilities.
While detailing the skill tree and progress, Techland has also announced 6 skills available in the game, 3 from parkour and 3 from combat, which are:
▼ Block Charge: While blocking, you will have the ability to charge at the enemy and knock him to the ground.
▼ Perfect: Resisting at the last minute will cause the attacking enemy to stand unsteadily.
▼ Ground Strike: When in mid-air, you can push yourself to the ground, causing a shock wave to knock back enemies.
▼ Long-distance jumping: When crossing obstacles, you can use them to launch yourself into the air and jump farther.
▼ Collision: While running, you can break through obstacles and knock enemies away non-stop.
▼ Jump on the wall: Run against the wall.
