On January 7, Mercedes-Benz released its new car plan for China in 2022. Officials announced that they will launch as many as 21 new models in China this year, including 8 pure electric and plug-in hybrid models. One of the most noteworthy is Mercedes-EQ's first pure electric sedan based on the EVA platform in China - Beijing Benz EQE.
In addition, the new cars released during the year included the Mercedes-Benz C-Class Plug-in Hybrid Edition, the Mercedes-Benz S-Class Plug-in Hybrid Edition and the Mercedes-Maybach S 680 4MATIC Ingenious Couture Premiere.
Coinciding with the 55th anniversary of mercedes-AMG, the Mercedes-AMG SL 63 and the first Mercedes-AMG pure electric model, the Mercedes-AMG EQS 53 4MATIC+, will also be available for sale this year.
