Wenyuan Zhixing fully driverless minibus open for operation

On January 7, according to Wenyuan Zhixing WeRide announced today that it will officially operate a fully driverless minibus in Guangzhou International Biological Island to provide driverless microcirculation bus services for the public. This is another important move by Wenyuan Zhixing in the unmanned driving landing after two years of safe operation of Robotaxi commercial services.

According to reports, the "Wenyuan Minibus" is jointly built by Wenyuan Zhixing and Yutong Group, using a pure electric vehicle model, without steering wheel, throttle and brake. The front-loading mass-produced unmanned vehicle is equipped with Wenyuan Zhixing's leading automatic driving full-stack software and hardware solution, with a maximum speed of 40 kilometers per hour, which meets the operation needs of all-day, all-weather and all-scenario operation, and can operate safely and stably in the case of urban open roads, expressways, tunnels, morning and evening peak congestion periods, rain and snow days, etc.

Guangzhou International Bio Island is located in Huangpu District, Guangzhou, and the first phase of the "Wenyuan Minibus" opened two operating routes, divided into the south line and the north line. In the future, the western line will be opened to further cover the whole island, connecting the stations where the crowd gathers and there is a just need for travel, and providing free travel for employees of enterprises on the island and citizens who come to the island for sightseeing. It operates 7 days a week, Monday to Friday from 8 am to 10 pm, Saturday and Sunday from 9 am to 6 pm, and runs every 10 minutes.
