According to the previous announcement of Jiangqi Group, in 2021, Jiangqi Group plans to produce and sell 500,000 vehicles and chassis of various types, and it is not difficult to see that Jiangqi Group has exceeded the annual sales target.
From the perspective of subdivision categories, in December 2021, Jachuai commercial vehicles sold 16,500 units, and from January to December, it sold 271,800 units. Among them, the annual sales of multi-functional commercial vehicles increased by nearly 20% year-on-year.
In the passenger car segment, Jiangqi Group sold 25,600 units in December and 252,500 units from January to December, up 62.27% year-on-year. Among them, passenger car SUVs sold 20,800 units in December, an increase of 62.09% year-on-year; cumulative sales from January to December were 193,800 units, an increase of 117.55% year-on-year. Pure electric passenger car sales in December were 16,800 units, up 130.12% year-on-year, and cumulative sales from January to December were 134,100 units, up 169.12% year-on-year.
In terms of export business, Jiangqi Group's sales reached 0.58 million units in December, an increase of 19.49% year-on-year, and the cumulative sales from January to December were 73,500 units, a sharp increase of 100.41% year-on-year.
According to industry analysts, with the dual blessing of Volkswagen and Weilai, Jiangqi Group has continuously optimized its product structure, improved the level of intelligent technology, and the user-centered concept has been more and more recognized by consumers, especially after entering December, the arrival of consumer demand at the end of the year, Jiangqi Group's various sub-categories have achieved relatively rapid growth, especially passenger car SUVs, pure electric passenger cars and export business, etc., almost all of which have achieved exponential growth in sales throughout the year.
According to the China Automobile Association, the national automobile sales in 2021 will be about 25.8 million units, which is basically the same as in 2020. This means that the sales growth of Jiangqi Group throughout the year continues to lead the overall level of the industry.
