According to NBCNewYork, former Olympic figure skater Kwan revealed that she gave birth to her first child, a daughter named Kalista Belle Kwan.
On Wednesday (January 5), Kwan wrote on her Instagram: "When I shared this news, I was ecstatic, and tears of happiness flowed down my face. I've always wanted to be a mother, and for me, she was a perfect miracle. ”
Kwan, 41, recalls: "It's hard for me to imagine her like that, but she seemed to be forever in my life. It's a challenging journey for motherhood (not to mention a long birth!!! In addition to sharing her daughter's first photo, Kwan also shared clips of her stomach bulging over the past nine months.
"I am grateful to have the support of so many people during this time, including the doctors and nurses who took care of me, the friends who shared their stories, and of course my family, without their love, I would not have had this surprise," Kwan wrote.
