The King's Speech: George VI

The King's Speech: George VI

The King's Speech is one of my favorite movies.

King George VI suffered from severe stuttering. At the outbreak of World War II in 1939, in order to boost the morale of the people, George VI overcame many difficulties and delivered his famous Christmas speech:

“...... There may be dark days ahead, wars are no longer confined to battlefields, but we can only do what we think is right...'

It should be said that George VI was not a hero in the traditional sense, and his courage to overcome difficulties is worth remembering.

The people and things surrounding George VI are full of legends.

His brother was the Edward VIII who loved beauty and did not love the country; His daughter is Elizabeth II, the king of England who is still reigning and has been on standby for the longest time.
