The Paper (www.thepaper.cn) learned from the bureau that since the launch of special law enforcement operations in the field of electric vehicles in November last year, Zhejiang has transferred 8 cases of electric vehicle violations to the public security organs, detained 5 people, and released 4 people on guarantee pending further investigation.

By the time of the case, the value of the goods involved in the case exceeded 200,000 yuan, which violated the Product Quality Law and was suspected of constituting the crime of producing and selling fake and shoddy products.

Since November 15 last year, the Zhejiang Provincial Market Supervision Bureau, the Public Security Department, and the Fire Rescue Corps have carried out a month-and-a-half-month special law enforcement operation in the field of electric bicycles, investigating and handling a total of 735 cases, nearly three times the total number of cases in the first ten months of last year.
