At 12:12 on December 7, 2021, the Ceres-1 Yao-2 carrier rocket was successfully launched at the Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center in China, and the five small satellites carried by Tianjin University No. 1, Lize No. 1, Baoshu, Jin Bauhinia No. 5, and Jin Bauhinia No. 1 03 satellites were successfully sent into the predetermined orbit, and the launch mission was a complete success.
The mission was the second flight of the Ceres-1 carrier rocket.
The Shenzhou XII astronauts met for the first time after their return
On the afternoon of December 7, 2021, Beijing Space City held a meeting with the Shenzhou 12 crew. This was the first time that Shenzhou XII had officially met with the media and the public after returning from the group. At the meeting, Jing Haipeng, captain of the astronaut brigade, introduced the recovery situation and follow-up plans after the return of the crew. According to him, the recovery period after the normal return of the group flight is mainly divided into three stages: isolation recovery stage, convalescence recovery stage and recovery observation stage. As of early December, the crew had completed the second phase of work. "Space Teachers" Zhai Zhigang, Wang Yaping and Ye Guangfu brought a wonderful space science lesson to the majority of teenagers on the China Space Station, which was the first space teaching activity of the Chinese Space Station.
In the about 60-minute lecture, Shenzhou 13 flight crew astronauts Zhai Zhigang, Wang Yaping and Ye Guangfu vividly introduced and demonstrated the work and life scenes of the space station, demonstrated the miraculous phenomena of cytology experiments, human movement, liquid surface tension and so on in the microgravity environment, and explained the scientific principles behind the experiments. During the lecture, the astronauts interacted with teachers and students in the ground classroom in real time through video calls.
