Regrettably, Song Ci's "forensic" work, The Collection of Washed Grievances, did not receive the attention of the Southern Song Dynasty court. Instead, later generations of Western physicians translated it into more than twenty languages and circulated it around the world. Because of this, Song Ci is called the "father of forensic science" by Western medical experts.
So is there anything unique about The Collection of Washed Grievances? Some of the methods recorded in it are still impressive to this day. The first detectives in the United States once called the principles of this book, which are still very valuable and cannot be replaced by some microscope computers. Song Ci said: "Prison affairs are not more important than the great opening, the great opening is not more important than the initial love, and the initial love is not more important than the test."
