From 1645 to 1653, it was hell on earth

This is a sad book of observations, and the text is unusually simple.

01

It's a very old book.

The paper was dark yellow and the pages were mutilated.

Judging from the font, it is obviously handwritten.

The author's name is Fu Diji.

He was a reader in the countryside of Jianyang, Sichuan, at the end of the Ming Dynasty and the beginning of the Qing Dynasty.

In 1644, Zhang Xianzhong's Great Western Army entered Sichuan.

Fu Diji's poor, simple and peaceful youth years ended in an instant.

Began a turbulent, painful and torturous escape career.

By the time the chaotic world came to an end, Fu Diji had also entered old age.

He wrote a book about the chaotic era in Sichuan in the late Ming and early Qing dynasties that he personally experienced, named "The Chronicle of Mr. Wuma", and left it to future generations as a family memorial.

The book never came out until it was discovered by the land reform team members, and it was only seen again.

A chaotic memory that has been sealed for three hundred years has also been revealed...

From 1645 to 1653, it was hell on earth

In June 1644, the eighteen-year-old Fu Diji was studying at home.

Suddenly, the news came that Zhang Xianzhong's Great Western Army was approaching Chongqing, and all the women in Jianzhou City had fled.

In July, Chongqing was breached.

Soon, the Great Western Army came to Fu Diji's hometown.

Zhang Xianzhong, the leader of the Great Western Army, dreamed of using Sichuan as the base to claim the title of emperor and the founding of the country

All the captives had their right hands chopped off, and there were screams, cries, and pain all over the place.

This gave the young FuDiji the first terrifying memory.

From 1645 to 1653, it was hell on earth

In 1645, the situation began to get worse and worse.

The Great Western Army plundered everywhere, and the gentry and people from all over the country rose up to resist.

An even bigger massacre began.

Outside the city, many people have gathered along the river.

It was dark, and fear hung over these hungry and cold people.

"You are young, maybe they will pull you to be a soldier, and there is still a way to live." We are old, I'm afraid we can't live! ”

The next day, the young men were pulled to replenish the ranks.

Then an order was given, the slaughter began, and the river turned red.
