By 2023, the Super Cruise is still expected to be used on 22 models of the GM brand, while ultra Cruise will go into production in 2023, and the Ultium-based Cadillac Celestiq ultra-luxury sedan will be one of the first models to be equipped with the technology.

GM and Cruise are pursuing an integrated path to autonomous driving, with the goal of delivering GM's first personal self-driving car as soon as 2025.

GM will be the first to use Qualcomm's Snapdragon Ride platform to implement advanced driver assistance technology, which is software-defined by GM's in-house development. The new computing architecture, developed by General Motors and Qualcomm for Ultra Cruise, will have the processing power of hundreds of personal computers, but only the size of two laptops stacked on top of each other.

In the field of autonomous driving, GM adheres to the multi-point development path, and its rich technology reserves cover Cruise fully autonomous driving technology and assisted driving systems including Super Cruise and Ultra Cruise. In addition, the company invested $300 million in Local Chinese Autonomous Driving Startup Momenta last year to accelerate the development and deployment of next-generation autonomous driving technology in China.
