In recent years, Qing Palace dramas can be described as popular all over the country, and even the grandmother of the editor has finished watching "The Biography of Zhen Huan", and what "Kang Yongqian's love story" has long become the talk of our Chinese people after tea and dinner. The "shortest river in China" today is inseparable from several emperors of the Qing Dynasty, and this river is the "ReHe".

Rehe, as the name suggests, a "hot" river, it comes from the hot springs in the Chengde Summer Resort, even in the cold winter months, it still does not freeze, and even emits white hot air, crystal clear, so it is called "hot river", this river will eventually flow into the Wulie River, so some people will call the Wulie River a hot river, but this is not very standardized.
Although the Rehe River is only 90 meters short and not even marked on the map, it has all the geomorphological characteristics of the river, so it is still a real river. However, although Rehe is short, its influence is quite large, and more than 100 years ago, China also used it as the name of a province.
In fact, in the early Qing Dynasty, the Rehe generation was still a grassland horse farm for herders to graze, and there was a small village called "Rehe Camp" nearby, where dozens of Mongolian herders lived and lived an indisputable life. As a result, when the Kangxi Emperor ascended to the throne, he took a fancy to the place of Rehe, so he opened up the lake area, built a chariot island, and built a causeway here, and successively built 21 palaces, collectively known as the "Rehe Palace", which is now the famous "Chengde Summer Resort".
As a result, I did not expect this project to be so huge, so after the death of Kangxi, the son Yongzheng continued to repair, after Yongzheng's death, Qianlong continued to repair, after 89 years of uninterrupted construction, the Qing Dynasty's summer resort was finally completed, becoming the largest existing ancient imperial palace in China (5.64 million square meters, 8 times the Forbidden City).
Here there are not only palace areas, but also lake areas, plains and mountain areas, come here, you can see both the blue waves of Jiangnan fish and rice town scenery, but also can see the green grass, the vast grassland scenery; both can see the grand and exquisite royal temple, but also can see the imitation of Jiangnan scenic spots built "Smoke and Rain Building", simply the whole of China's natural landforms, various buildings condensed here, is actually the highest model of classical Chinese gardens. Therefore, whenever summer came, the emperors of the Qing Dynasty would come here to escape the summer and handle government affairs by the way, which could not help but make people sigh "I don't understand the life of rich people."
Because the "Rehe Palace" is too big, so the Qing Dynasty set up a "Rehe General Manager", responsible for all the affairs here, at first it was an official of the 5 pins, but with the continuous expansion of the "Rehe Palace", the task of the Rehe Governor was also getting heavier and heavier, so the Qianlong Emperor upgraded it to the official of the 2 pins, and the Jiaqing Emperor even directly upgraded it to from 1 pin, which shows that the Rulers of the Qing Dynasty attached great importance to the "Rehe Palace".
In 1912, the Qing Dynasty fell, the Republic of China government divided it into a province, belonging to one of the "four northeastern provinces outside the Guanwai", in 1914 set up the "Rehe Special District", in 1928 it was changed to "Rehe Province", until the founding of New China, it was abolished, the former influential "Rehe Province" officially withdrew from the historical stage, leaving only this 90-meter-long "Rehe".
