In China's feudal history, there was such a special group of poor people, who were eunuchs. In ancient times, emperors needed people to serve themselves, but they could not use all women, but they were afraid that these people would bring green hats to themselves, so eunuchs came into being. In the history of China, there are many traces of themselves left by eunuchs. Some are infamous, such as Wei Zhongxian and the like. Some of them are left with good names, such as Zheng He and others. Today, Xiaobian introduces a special eunuch, he is the last eunuch in China.

This person is Sun Yaoting. Sun Yaoting was born into a poor peasant family in Jinghai County, Tianjin. A family of 6, parents and 4 brothers, Sun Yaoting is the second eldest. At that time, Sun Yaoting's whole family only added up to 7 points of land and two upper rooms. Soon after, the family could not even afford to eat, and the grandchildren had no choice but to beg for a living. If the Sun family does not make any changes, sooner or later the family will starve to death on the street.
Later, Sun Yaoting's father heard others say that being a eunuch could change the family's situation. So in order not to let his family starve to death in the street, and to allow Sun Yaoting to have a full meal, Sun Yaoting's parents decided to let Sun Yaoting become a eunuch, and in order to survive, Sun Yaoting also agreed to become a eunuch. Because the family could not afford to pay at that time, they could only be operated by his father himself and operated on him, and Sun Yaoting fainted for three days and three nights. But heaven seemed to have made a big joke with Sun Yaoting, and when he woke up, there was news from outside that the Qing Dynasty had perished, the last emperor Xuantong had abdicated, Yuan Shikai was the president, and the Republic of China did not need eunuchs. Imagine how sun yaoting's family collapsed at that time.
Sun Yaoting lay in bed for two full months before he could get out of bed and move. What was cut off could not grow back, and it had become a fact that Sun Yaoting became a eunuch. Fortunately, there is no invincible road! Although Yuan Shikai became the president, the Xuantong Emperor still lived in the Forbidden City and still needed eunuch palace women to serve him. In 1916, Sun Yaoting's father found a relationship to send him to the Forbidden City, and finally fulfilled his dream of calling his son a eunuch.
With his cleverness, Sun Yaoting won the appreciation of Empress Wanrong and became Empress Wanrong's personal eunuch, serving Wanrong's daily life. Unfortunately, within a few years, Puyi was driven out of the Forbidden City, and Sun Yaoting helplessly left the Forbidden City. Later in his life, Sun Yaoting wrote a book based on what he saw and heard in the palace, "The Last Eunuch in China", which was later made into a movie.
In 1996, China's last eunuch died at the age of 94 at the Guanghua Temple.
