Not only that, Nian Qianyao was the governor of Sichuan and Shaanxi at that time, the general of Fuyuan, in charge of the important affairs of the Yun, Gui, and Sichuan military and political affairs, Nian Qianyao had the power to appoint and dismiss civil and military officials under his jurisdiction, called "Nian Xuan", although the main starting point of all this was for Nian Qianyao to win the battle, but Yongzheng still had some sincerity about Nian Qianyao, and even said something like this: "Not only do you rely on the reward of your family, but the descendants of the descendants of the world and the subjects of the world should be pleased with it." If there is a slightest negative heart, it is not a descendant of the fallen; if there is a slight dissenting heart, it is not my courtiers. ”
However, with the pacification of the war in the northwest, Nian Qianyao's arrogance, dictatorial power, impeachment of the virtuous officials, and mistreatment of his subordinates not only aroused the indignation of the government and the public, but also aroused the dissatisfaction of Yongzheng, so he took advantage of Nian Qianyao's momentary negligence to miswrite "Chao QianXi Ti" as "Xi Ti Chao Qian", which was originally a small matter, and was dismissed from the posts of governor of Nian Qianyao Chuan and Shaanxi and the general of Fuyuan, and transferred him to the post of general of Hangzhou, so how many ranks was Nian Qianyao demoted to this transfer?
The Qing Dynasty's Fuyuan general was not permanent, only granted in wartime, but the authority was very large, the first Fuyuan general of the Qing Dynasty was Yongzheng's half-brother, Kangxi's fourteenth son Yun Yu, Kangxi fifty-seventh year (1718) Kangxi appointed him as the Fuyuan general to fight against the Invading Tibet Jungar Department, in 1722 Yongzheng ascended the throne after summoning Yun Yu back to Beijing, the successor of Fuyuan general was The grandson of Emperor Suwu of the Zongfu Prince Hauge Yanxin, Yongzheng first year (1723) Qinghai Luobuzang Danjin Rebellion, Nian Qianyao took charge of The Great General Yin of Fuyuan and officially took over as the General of Fuyuan.
In addition to the general Fuyuan, Nian Qianyao also had several identities, namely the Taibao of Zhengyipin, the title of Shangshu of bingbu from Yipin, and the viceroy of Chuanshan and Shaanxi of Zhengerpin, of which Taibao was a fictitious title, and the title of Governor of Sichuan and Shaanxi and the title of Shangshu of Bingbu were actually to strengthen the status of Nian Qianyao, so that he could justifiably give orders to the inspectors and viceroys of Yun, Gui, and Sichuan.

General Fuyuan was established temporarily, while General Hangzhou was a permanent general name: the Qing Dynasty set up 14 garrison generals throughout the country, namely Shengjing, Jilin, Heilongjiang, Suiyuancheng, Jiangning, Fuzhou, Hangzhou, Jingzhou, Xi'an, Ningxia, Ili, Chengdu, Guangzhou, and UlyaSutai.
Therefore, although Nian Qianyao was transferred to the general of Hangzhou, in terms of rank, there was not much difference between him and the governor of Sichuan and Shaanxi, the title of Shangshu of the Military Department and the general of Fuyuan, even if he started from Taibao, he was at most demoted by one level, but things were far from being so simple.
Yongzheng seized nian tangyao's military power and put him in Hangzhou, where he was not familiar with his life, to make it clear that he wanted to do something to nian tangyao, and this truth was not surprising in ancient and modern times, and sure enough, soon the imperial court convicted Nian Qianyao of ninety-two major crimes, and Yongzheng opened a side to give him a sentence in prison.
If Nian Qianyao could act in a low-key manner and retreat bravely, although Yongzheng would inevitably attack him, the ending would never be so tragic, nian Qianyao was purely killed by himself.
