According to the report, the average salary of 38 core cities in the fourth quarter of 2021 exceeded 10,000 yuan for the first time, reaching 10,111 yuan / month, up 3.8% month-on-month, and 13.3% higher than the 8923 yuan / month in the same period last year. The median recruitment compensation in the fourth quarter was 8,001 yuan / month, an increase of 6.6% compared with the previous quarter. The majority was 5001 yuan / month, which was the same as the salary majority in the previous quarter. The average salary in Chengdu in the fourth quarter was 9848 yuan.

The report shows that among the 38 core cities, the number of cities with monthly salaries exceeding 10,000 increased from 7 in the previous quarter to 9 in the current quarter. Among them, the monthly salaries of Beijing and Shanghai are still in the first echelon, reaching 13412 yuan / month and 13195 yuan / month, respectively. Shenzhen and Hangzhou ranked 3rd and 4th with salaries of 12606 yuan / month and 11462 yuan / month, respectively. The four cities of Beijing, Shanghai, Shenzhen and Hangzhou all rose by more than 4.0% month-on-month. The month-on-month growth rate of salary levels in Chengdu and Changsha exceeded 5.0%.
It is worth noting that Chengdu's real estate/construction/building materials/engineering industry in the fourth quarter occupied the top spot with a salary of 11843 yuan / month. At the same time, the salary level still shows the characteristics of higher academic requirements and higher recruitment salaries, the highest average recruitment salary above master's degree, 17388 yuan / month, and the average salary of college degree posts is 8892 yuan / month; while the salary of high school and below is still the minimum level, which is 7465 yuan / month.

From the perspective of experience requirements, the working years requirements of Chengdu posts are still positively correlated with the salary level, and the longer the working years, the higher the average salary. The average salary of positions requiring more than 10 years of work experience is as high as 32716 yuan / month, while the average monthly salary of posts with less than 1 year of experience is 8706 yuan.
