In 2021, the sales volume of new energy vehicles will grow rapidly, and the penetration rate will increase significantly. At the same time, new players continue to enter the new energy car-making track, just at the outlet of the new energy vehicle "gold absorption" continues to rise, according to the data of Tianyancha, the total amount of new energy vehicle financing in 2021 exceeds 80 billion yuan.
According to the data of Tianyancha, there are currently about 400,000 new energy vehicle-related enterprises in China, of which nearly 4,000 are high-tech enterprises. During the "13th Five-Year Plan" period, the average annual registration growth rate of new energy vehicle-related enterprises reached 38.6%, of which the annual registration growth rate of related enterprises in 2020 was the fastest, reaching 41%. Up to now, China has registered about 170,000 new energy vehicle-related enterprises last year.
From the perspective of geographical distribution, Shandong and Guangdong provinces have the largest number of new energy vehicle-related enterprises, both exceeding 43,000, accounting for more than 10%; then in Jiangsu Province, there are more than 34,000 new energy vehicle-related enterprises, accounting for 5.6%.
From the perspective of registration time, more than 80% of enterprises have a registration period of less than 5 years. From the perspective of registered capital, enterprises below 1 million are the most, accounting for 29%, followed by enterprises above 10 million yuan, accounting for 25%. Judging from the patent data of Tianyancha, the types of patents applied for by new energy vehicle-related enterprises are mainly utility models, accounting for 46.7%, in addition, invention patents and designs account for 44.6% and 8.7% respectively.
In addition, according to the incomplete statistics of the Tianyancha Data Research Institute, between 2006 and 2021, there were about 550 financing incidents in the field of new energy vehicles, with a total amount of more than 320 billion yuan. Among them, more than 70% of the financing time occurred from 2015 to 2020, and the total amount of financing exceeded 250 billion yuan. Since last year, the "gold absorption" of new energy has continued to rise. As of December 2021, there were more than 110 financing incidents in the field of new energy vehicles last year, with a total financing amount of more than 80 billion yuan.
New energy vehicles are growing rapidly in China, and there is more potential in the future. According to the "China Automotive Industry Information Network" under the China Automobile Center, it is predicted that the penetration rate of new energy vehicles may increase to 23% in 2022.
