Trail Blazers coach Billups said the team will meet as soon as possible to discuss Lillard's injury and how to deal with it in the future.

According to Aaron Fentress, a member of the team, letting him continue to rest and surgery are both possible options.

So far this season, Lillard has played in 29 games for the Blazers, averaging 36.4 minutes per game, 24 points, 4.1 rebounds and 7.3 assists, and shooting 32.4% from three-point range.
