Walking into the rainforest world of the Botanical Garden, only to see the emerald green, "fairy qi" swirling, a casual shot is as beautiful as a fairyland, which can be called Xiamen's well-deserved Internet celebrity punch point. The reporter saw at the scene that the rainforest world has planted a large number of tropical plants, including turtle back leaves full of vitality, emerald green banana leaves, and various vines winding and clinging to other plants, which are very dense. The fog forest system, which is open every day, creates a dreamy hazy beauty, and the wisps of sunlight penetrate the dense canopy of trees to form a column of light, adding to the mystery.

According to reports, the upgrading and transformation project has further enhanced the sense of landscape viewing experience in the rainforest world, improved the landscape effect of various plants, broadened the road, and expanded the rainforest worldwide, connecting with the adjacent vine plant area. At the same time, widen and build additional hiking trails to make the moving line more reasonable and smooth. In order to better create the dream effect of high humidity and fog in the rainforest world, on the basis of the original three landscape fog forest systems, three new fog forest systems have been added.

In terms of vegetation, on the basis of maintaining the original natural vegetation that has been formed, more tropical plants with rainforest characteristics such as orchids, ferns, tiannanxing family and magnolia family have been introduced and cultivated, which enriched the species diversity and enhanced the community structure level.

Cai Bangping, deputy director of the Municipal Landscape and Botanical Garden, revealed that in the future, the rainforest world will improve the water system of Qiaoxi River, form a natural water landscape with muddy streams, and create a large-scale alder valley along the water system, increase more upper-level tall tree species, and gradually improve the diversity of vegetation in the region.
