NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050 released: 8GB video memory support, support for light chasing

January 5 news, Nvidia released the GeForce RTX 3050 desktop graphics card in the early hours of this morning, while disclosing some information about the RTX 3090 Ti.

The RTX 3050 is the first "50" product belonging to the RTX series, bringing ray tracing features to entry-level game cards.

It is based on ampere architecture with a GA106-150 core. It has 2560 CUDA cores with a base frequency of 1550MHz/1780MHz of acceleration.

The GeForce RTX 3050 features 8GB of GDDR6 memory with a memory width of 128 bits and a speed of 14Gbps. The full-card TDP is 130W, and the single-precision floating-point hashrate is 9TFLOPS, which is higher than the RTX 2060's 6.5TFLOPS.

Officially, the GeForce RTX 3050 can run mainstream games at 1080P resolution and supports hardware-level ray tracing.

I think this graphics card is more suitable for mainstream online games, as well as small and medium-sized single-player gamers using 1080P screens, ray tracing or random fate. Its official price is $249 (about 1587 yuan), which is not cheap, but if you can buy it at the original price, you can still do it.

At the same time, Nvidia also announced the new flagship GeForce RTX 3090 Ti. It has 10752 stream processors with a base frequency of 1560MHz/1860MHz of acceleration.

It has 24GB of GDDR6X memory, 384 bits wide and 21Gbps, so for the first time the memory bandwidth exceeds 1TB/s.

The GeForce RTX 3090 Ti has 40TFLOPS single-precision floating-point performance and a TDP of 450W, so it uses the PCIe 5.0 power supply interface. At present, the official has not announced the details including the price and the time of sale, but it will be released later this month.
