Among them, a total of 12 representative intangible cultural heritage projects in Guangzhou have been selected for the public list.

According to reports, since the launch of the eighth batch of provincial intangible cultural heritage representative project recommendation and declaration work in 2021, Guangzhou has further strengthened the construction of the city's provincial intangible cultural heritage representative project directory, and promoted the improvement of the city's intangible cultural heritage protection work.

The 12 intangible cultural heritage items selected for the public list in Guangzhou are divided into 6 categories, including Hakka mountain songs (Guangzhou Hakka mountain songs) in traditional music, lion dances in traditional dance (Guangzhou lion awakening), carp dance (Conghua aquarium dance), Cantonese embroidery in traditional arts (Cantonese embroidery), Traditional skills in Chinese costume making techniques (nail gold embroidery skirt making techniques), Cantonese wax flavor making techniques, Liangguo production techniques (Cantonese liangguo production techniques), traditional Chinese medicine diagnosis and treatment methods (musculoskeletal therapy method), Acupuncture (Lingnan flying needle therapy), traditional Preparation Methods of Traditional Chinese Medicine (Two Days Oil Making Technique), Folk Cantonese Tea Drinking Customs and Dragon Boat Festival (Chebei Dragon Boat Scene).
