Alphabet-owned Google Cloud reportedly said on Tuesday that it had acquired Israeli cybersecurity firm Siemplify. The latter is a provider of security coordination, automation and response technologies, founded in 2015 with offices in the United States and London. According to the deal, estimated at about $500 million, Siemplify will be incorporated into Google Cloud Platform, which has about 200 employees.
