Shun gave birth to a daughter, the family should have rejoiced, who knew that the disease quietly attacked. Ms. Dawu Liu developed acute fatty liver disease during pregnancy, multiple organ failure, and her life was hanging on the line.

After she fell into a coma, her husband recorded the audio of himself and the baby on his mobile phone and played it back to Ms. Liu repeatedly. Under the unremitting efforts of medical staff and the repeated calls of relatives, Ms. Liu, who has been in a coma for more than half a month, finally woke up and recovered.

The child fell to the ground, but her life was hanging on the line, and after more than half a month of coma, the sound of the baby and her husband woke her up

On January 4, Ms. Liu and her husband sent a pennant to Li Jiafu, director of the obstetrics department of the Women's and Children's Hospital of Wuhan University Zhongnan Hospital.

Just after giving birth to a child, the most dangerous thing happened

Ms. Liu is 34 years old and has a family in Dawu. After becoming pregnant last year, she has been doing obstetric examinations on time, and all indicators are normal. On November 7 last year, she had a bit of a fever, and people felt bored and had no appetite. After taking cold medicine, it didn't get better for a few days. Six days later, she gave birth to her baby girl at the local hospital. The family was about to take a long breath when the doctor told them that the admission examination showed that Ms. Liu's liver function and blood clotting function were abnormal, and there may be a potential risk of serious diseases, and she needed to be transferred to the Women's and Children's Hospital of Wuhan University Zhongnan Hospital for treatment as soon as possible.

As it turns out, the doctor's judgment was not wrong. After Ms. Liu was transferred to the Zhongnan Hospital of Wuhan University, the examination found that her coagulation function was only one-tenth of normal, and she also began to have postpartum hemorrhage. After the joint treatment of obstetrics and ICU, although she survived the bleeding pass, her whole body was yellow, and her urine was golden yellow.

After detailed examination, Ms. Liu was diagnosed with acute fatty liver disease during pregnancy, which is a fatal and rare disease unique to the third trimester of pregnancy. The onset of the disease is rapid, and the mortality rate is more than 70%. Once combined with hepatic coma, the mortality rate is as high as 90%.

Despite the medical staff's efforts, Ms. Liu fell into a liver coma. What to do? Referring to the previous experience in China, the hospital's obstetrics, infection department, ICU, hepatobiliary disease research institute and other multi-disciplinary experts repeatedly discussed, and after full communication with the family, decided to take comprehensive treatment first, and took artificial liver transplantation as plan B.

For 8 consecutive days and 8 nights, the rescue did not stop for a moment. Fortunately, Ms. Liu's condition finally turned around, and her coagulation function and other indicators began to improve, but she was still unconscious.

"Dear wake up early, me and the baby waiting for you to come home"

"Honey wake up early, me and the baby are waiting for you to come home." This is the audio recorded by Ms. Liu's husband. Every day, he would record his affectionate call and the baby's voice, hand it over to the medical staff, and play it on a loop at Ms. Liu's bedside.

"If people can wake up, the success rate of treatment can be doubled." The doctor told him.

Under the call of "caring for and promoting awakening", Ms. Liu, who originally did not respond to external stimuli, began to change. Whenever she heard the baby's cries and her husband's soft words, her head began to slowly deflect towards the playing phone. After a few more days, although her eyes did not open, she heard the baby's voice and tears began to flow from the corners of her eyes. At this point, her body also began to react more. Every small change is an inspiration to healthcare workers and families.

Finally, after half a month in a coma, in early December, she was finally able to open her eyes. "Wake up! Wake up! The medical staff were excited, and Ms. Liu's family was even more excited and shed tears. After that, Ms. Liu's condition got better and better, and her liver function returned to the normal level before pregnancy.

One day, the nurse asked her if she remembered what happened during this time, and Ms. Liu said: "I remember always hearing my husband's voice, he said let me wake up quickly." ”

At the end of December last year, Ms. Liu recovered and was discharged from the hospital. On January 4 this year, she returned to the Women's and Children's Hospital of Zhongnan Hospital of Wuhan University with her husband to present pennants to the medical team such as Li Jiafu, director of obstetrics, Guo Juanjuan, deputy chief physician, and other medical teams.

The child fell to the ground, but her life was hanging on the line, and after more than half a month of coma, the sound of the baby and her husband woke her up

"In the most dangerous times, the support and love of family members is the most important." Li Jiafu said that when Ms. Liu's life was hanging on the line, her husband never gave up, and actively cooperated with the treatment plan when she was unconscious, which was a key part of Ms. Liu's final reversal of fate.
