I finally spoke to Dr. Hugh Blue on the phone for the first time on October 21, 2005.

His full name was Igalekarla Hugh Blue, but he asked me to call him "I", just like the english letter E is pronounced. No problem, I can do it. "Yi" and I had their first phone call, and after about an hour of talking, I asked him to tell me the full story of his therapeutic work.

He said he worked for three years at Hawaii State Hospital, a dangerous area for mentally ill criminals, where psychotherapists quit every month and employees often take sick leave or simply don't come. When everyone passes through that ward area, in order to prevent being attacked by those crazy patients, they will walk with their backs against the wall. Truth be told, it's not a pleasant place to live, work or visit.

Dr. Hugh Blue, or "E," told me that he had never officially met patients or had face-to-face treatment with them, but only looked at their files. He cleans himself up when he sees a doctor, and when he cleans himself up, the patient begins to recover.

The next few things he told me were even more peculiar, and even miraculous.

"After a few months, the patients with handcuffs and shackles were allowed to walk freely," he told me, "while other patients who had to take high doses of the drug began to reduce the dose." Then, those who were thought to never have a chance to be released were also released.

It's incredible.

"Not only that," he continued, "but hospital employees began to like to come to work, and the situation of skipping shifts or high turnover disappeared." Later, as patients were gradually released, the entire ward was closed and all the staff came back to work, so our staff even experienced an oversupply. ”

At this point I have to ask an important question: "What are you doing within yourself that can make other people change?" ”

"I just cleared the part of me that I shared with them." He said.

What do you mean? I don't understand.

Dr. Hue Len explains, "One hundred percent responsibility for your own life means that everything in your life, just because it is in your life, is your responsibility. Literally, the whole world is your creation. ”

Wow, that's really hard to accept. It's one thing to be responsible for my own words and deeds, and it's another thing to be responsible for the words and actions of everyone in my life.

However, the truth is that when you take full responsibility for your own life, then everything you see, hear, taste, touch, or experience in any way is your responsibility, because it appears in your life. This means that terrorists, presidents, economies — any person, thing, or thing you experience but don't like— you have to treat it. Or, as well as saying this: if they hadn't been projected from within you, they wouldn't have existed in the first place. So the problem is not with them, but with you.

To change them, you must first change yourself.

I know it's hard to understand, let alone accept or practice it, because blaming is far easier than taking one hundred percent responsibility. But in my conversation with Dr. Shue Len, I began to understand that the cure for him and for the therapy of "Hoo Bonobono" was to love myself. If you want to improve your life, you must heal your life. If you want to heal anyone, even criminals with mental illness, start by healing yourself.

I asked Dr. Hugh Len how he healed himself. What was he doing looking at those illnesses?

"I just keep saying I'm sorry, I love you, again and again." He explained.

"'That's it?'

"That's it."

It turns out that loving yourself is the best way to improve yourself. When you improve yourself, you also improve your world.

When Dr. Hugh Blue, or "I", works in the hospital, whatever emerges within him, he turns it on to the divine and asks for the release of the problematic thing. He always believed in divinity, and doing so worked every time. Dr. Shue Len would ask himself, "What happened within me to cause this problem?" And how do I fix this inherent problem? ”

Obviously, this healing method from the inside out is the Ego Consciousness method formed through the "Hoo BonoBono". The old "Hoo Bono Bono" seems to have been heavily influenced by Hawaiian missionaries, and it would have a facilitator to help people solve problems by speaking them out. When they can cut off the bond that caused the problem, the problem disappears. But the Ego Consciousness, formed through "Hooborobono", does not require a facilitator, everything is done within yourself. It's surprising, but I know I'm going to learn more about it all.

Dr. Hue Len has not yet written any textbooks about his therapy. I offered to help him write a book, but he didn't seem very interested. An old film he mentioned was still available, and I ordered it immediately. He also mentioned that you can read "The User's Illusion" by the Danish writer Tao Norichhand. I loved books, so I immediately went to Amazon to order this book. As soon as the book arrived, I immediately read it without sleeping or eating.

The book proposes that our consciousness simply cannot grasp what is really happening in the moment. "In fact, millions of bits of information flow in through our senses every second, but our consciousness can only process about 40 bits of information at most every second," Norijand said. Information in the other millions of bits is compressed into a conscious experience that doesn't actually contain any information.

As far as I know, Dr. Shue Len means that since we cannot really perceive what is happening in the present moment, all we can do is transfer them completely. Then believe that it all has to do with taking a hundred percent responsibility for everything in our lives. Yes, it refers to everything. He said his job was to clean himself up, and that was it. When he cleanses himself, the world becomes pure, because he is the world, and everything outside of himself is just an inner projection or an illusion at all.

While some parts sound like Jung's theory that the outer world you see is the shadowy side of your life, Dr. Hue Len describes much more than that. He seems to be saying that everything is a reflection of your inner being. But he also says that it is your responsibility to correct everything you experience from within yourself by connecting with the divine. For him, the only way to correct everything external is to say "I love you" to the divine. The "divinity" here can be said to be God, life, the universe, or any term used to describe a person with great power.

It was a deep conversation. Dr. Shue Len never knew me, but he spent a lot of time on me, and along the way, I was confused by him again. He's almost 70 years old, and to some he may be a master, but to others he may be a lunatic.

The first time I was able to talk to Dr. Hugh Blue, I was excited, but I wanted more explanation because I obviously didn't understand what he was saying to me. It may seem easy to resist or refute his claims, but what I can't let go of is the story of his use of this new method to cure so-called "abandoned" cases, such as criminals with mental illness.

I knew Dr. Shue Len was going to have a seminar, and I asked him about that seminar: "What am I going to get out of there?" ”

"You'll get all you deserve." He said.

Well, that sounds a lot like the philosophy of the '80s Ohard workshop training: all you get is what you deserve.

"How many people will attend your seminar?" I asked.

"I'm constantly cleaning up, so people who have been cleaned up and ready will go and participate." He said, "Maybe 30, maybe 50, I don't know." ”

Before we hung up, I asked "E" what the byline of his email meant.

"The peace of the great self refers to the peace that transcends all understanding." He explained. I didn't understand what he meant at the time, and now that I think about it, it all makes so much sense.
