Recently, the epidemic prevention and control situation in Xi'an is grim, and the anti-epidemic situation has touched people's hearts, and the BYD Charity Foundation has donated 10 million yuan and 30 million yuan of anti-epidemic materials to the Xi'an Red Cross Society to help Xi'an fight against the epidemic.
According to the Shaanxi Health Commission reported on January 3, from December 9 to January 2, the province reported a total of 1690 locally confirmed cases (1663 cases in Xi'an City, 13 cases in Xianyang City, 13 cases in Yan'an City, and 1 case in Weinan City), of which 11 cases were discharged from hospital and 1679 cases were hospitalized.
In addition, the epidemic in Xi'an has also caused a certain impact on the production of BYD automobiles, and the Xi'an production base is one of BYD's most important production bases, shouldering the production of popular models such as Qin PLUS DM-i hybrid and Song PLUS DM-i hybrid.
The planned annual production capacity of the first and second phases of BYD's Xi'an production base is 300,000 units, that is, BYD has an annual production capacity of 600,000 units in Xi'an.
In this regard, BYD responded that the epidemic has some impact on the production of Xi'an Park and is actively coordinating the response.
