Aaron Linde, the narrative director of Halo Infinity, on his personal social media account, officially announced that he had left 343 Industries Studios to join the game development department of Riot Games, the developer of League of Legends.

Aaron Linde said it was a mixed decision, and in 2022 he will be looking for new opportunities, and Halo Infinity will be one of the proud achievements of his career. He was grateful to be part of 343 Studios, having worked on the best games ever, making 2021 a very special year for him.

Aaron Linde was the original story writer for Gears of War characters in 2008, and subsequently worked on Gears of War 3, Middle-earth: Shadow of War, and became the chief writer of Born for War and the narrative design of the dynamic world of Guild Wars 2. Prior to joining 343 Studios in 2019, he was a senior screenwriter for Bungie's Destiny 2 Shadow Fortress expansion pack.
