Zhao Zilong swung his hand and said to Zhang Yi, Don't panic! You open all the camp doors, put down the camp flag, and don't knock on the drums. In addition, you tell the archers to ambush and wait for the order. Standing alone outside the camp gate, he shot himself.
When the pursuing soldiers of the Cao Army saw them standing alone outside the camp gate, they were frightened and did not dare to go, lest they be ambushed.
However, they were really ambushed. Only to see Zhao Zilong with a gun, the ambush archers fired thousands of arrows, the Cao army in the front row fell to the ground with arrows, and the Cao army in the back panicked and turned around and ran, so the Cao army appeared "trampling on each other, and there were many dead in the water of the fallen Han".
The next day, Liu Bei came to the front of the army to inspect, and after inspecting the scene of the battle between the two armies yesterday, he said happily, "Zilong is full of guts. ”
Later, based on this story, people derived an idiom: "one body is bile" or "full body is bile". It is used as a metaphor for someone who is extremely brave and fearless.
