Cantonese generals during the Republic of China period refer to generals born in Guangdong. Even Guangdong is also the base camp of Mr. Zhongshan, who has been active in Guangdong for a long time and publicized the revolutionary cause. And these enthusiastic young people, who experienced tempering on the battlefield, later became famous generals in the Cantonese army. Generals such as Ye Ting, Zhang Fakui, Xue Yue, Chen Jitang, Chen Mingshu, Deng Longguang, Wu Qiwei, Jiang Guangnai, Cai Tingkai, Yu Hanmou, Li Hanling, Huang Qixiang, Luo Zhuoying and other generals were all Cantonese, so they were also called Cantonese generals.
The above generals, during the Northern Expedition, the Central Plains War, and the warlord melee, were all well-known figures at that time. For example, Ye Ting was a famous general during the Northern Expedition, and Chen Jitang was also once the famous Southern Heavenly King. However, among the many Cantonese generals, there are probably only two generals who fight the most fiercely with the Japanese Kou. They belonged to the eight-year War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression, month by month, and they all achieved great success, and they were veritable famous generals of the War of Resistance.
The first is Xue Yue, who is more well known to everyone, who belonged to the years, months, months, and days of fighting with the enemy during the War of Resistance. He is also one of the many Cantonese generals whose military command ability is relatively outstanding. The famous Wanjialing Victory was commanded by Xue Yue, and the First Battle of Changsha, the Second Battle of Changsha, and the Third Battle of Changsha are all masterpieces of General Xue Yue. Each battle dealt a heavy blow to the invaders, and at the same time, took a step forward towards the fruits of victory.
According to post-war statistics, the three battles of Changsha commanded by General Xue Yue annihilated more than 100,000 enemy troops in battle. He became the commander of the theater in which he annihilated the largest number of enemies in the major theaters during the War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression. Even Okamura Ninji praised General Xue Yue's command ability.
The second was the unknown general Luo Zhuoying, although his fame was small, he was a well-known general of the War of Resistance. He was also the one with the widest conquest area among the many Cantonese generals during the War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression. He participated in the Battle of Wuhan and the Battle of Changsha, served as the commander of the Expeditionary Force, fought in Yunnan and Burma, promoted the prestige of the country, and achieved the most internationally influential battle: the Great Victory of Ren'an and Qiang. Just as the elder of the Republic of China, Yu Right Ren, once praised Luo Zhuoying: "Thirty thousand miles, fight two hundred battles." This also confirmed the frequency of General Luo Zhuoying's participation in the war during the War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression and the widest area of conquest.
