The matter of thrush was originally used to express the love of husband and wife, so why did the MINISTER impeach him? There are two reasons for this.
1. Be straightforward
Zhang Chang was a straightforward man who offended many important ministers in the court, so the ministers hated him. Liu He was proclaimed empress dowager, and the use of people was improper, so Zhang Chang went up and said that Liu He did not use xianchen, but this sentence made the ministers of the dprk have no face.

2. Implicated
Zhang Chang's final impeachment was mainly implicated. Because after Zhang Chang's friend Yang Yun was convicted, Yang Yun's relatives and friends were implicated.
However, Emperor Xuan of Han felt that Zhang Chang was a talent and wanted to continue to use him. At this time, there was a case, Zhang Chang sent a subordinate to investigate, and as a result, this subordinate, thinking that Zhang Chang was deposed, did not investigate the case, Zhang Chang knew about it, and killed this subordinate.
However, the matter was not over, the family of this subordinate accused Zhang Chang of indiscriminately killing innocents, and Emperor Xuan of Han had no way at this time, but he did not want to cure Zhang Chang's crime, so he cut Zhang Chang to a civilian position on the grounds that Zhang Chang was a good friend of Yang Yun, in order to quell the incident.
Zhang Chang was straightforward and offended many people, but he did not make serious mistakes, and everyone could not find a reason to impeach him, so he said that he was frivolous and did not observe the etiquette of the minister to his wife.
However, Emperor Xuan of Han did not think that this was a crime, but felt that his behavior did not meet the requirements of the minister, so he did not promote Zhang Chang.
However, these ministers did not give up, and once again made a fuss about Yang Yun's affairs, implicating Zhang Chang, and Emperor Xuan of Han had no choice but to cut Zhang Chang off his post in order to protect Zhang Chang.
Judging from Zhang Chang's repeated impeachment, it shows that a person's speech and deeds cannot be too blunt. We should tolerate others who have offended us because they are blunt, but we ourselves should try to avoid offending people because they are too blunt.
Because this will bring a lot of trouble to himself, thanks to Zhang Chang encountering the Ming Emperor and Emperor Xuan of Han, otherwise the consequences will be unimaginable.
