This village, located in the northwest of Lianjiang City, is located at the junction of Changshan Town with Qingping Town, Stone Neck Town and Shapi Town in Bobai County, Guangxi. More than a thousand years ago, the Hakka ancestors migrated to Lingnan and scattered everywhere, one of which settled at the junction of guangdong and Guangdong in today's Guangdong. According to the research of the Guan clan of Huangxiaogen Village, at the end of the Ming Dynasty, the ancestors of the Guan clan of the village moved here from Jiujiang in the South China Sea. In the 1960s, due to the construction of the Changqing Reservoir, after several relocations, Huangxiaogen Village became a reservoir migration village where Hakka people gathered.

Along the village road, not far away, you can see the stone stele engraved with songs, and the villagers can't help but hum a few words when they pass by.
Entering the cultivation and reading hall, the Hakka cultural atmosphere is even more intense: in the reading room, the Hakka culture accompanied by the fragrance of books suddenly becomes vivid in the fingers, and the walls display the long village history of Huang Xiaogong; in the "farming area", the wooden stilts, ploughs, water wheels, etc. come to life, the portrait sculptures bloom with the joy of harvest on the faces, and the physical objects such as stone mills and reel wells display farming culture; in the "folk area", Hakka mountain songs, eight joys and customs, folk costumes and other contents are available, which is the so-called "etiquette and enlightenment, and the customs are thick and humane".

Guan Guohan, secretary of the general party branch of the Wenlin Village Cpc Committee, introduced that today, the villagers of Huangxiaogen Village still like to sing mountain songs, sing tea picking plays and puppet shows at traditional festivals, worship Guan Gong, worship ancestral shrines, and taste rice rice, sweet wine, ground tofu and other delicacies.

Ecological transformation of the village for a new look
Those who come to Huangxiaogong Village for the first time will never forget the village archway that stands quietly but is solemn and thick. The archway is a three-door and second-floor structure, the plain white main body is dotted with gray tiles that are in line with the houses, and the four characters of "Huangxiaogen Village" on a red background and black characters seem to be listening to the footsteps of history.
However, Guan Anning, a staff member of the village committee, recalled that it used to be a different situation: "In the past, many people could not find the specific location of Huangxiaogen Village, when the village entrance was chaotic, overgrown with weeds, lacked marking points, and there were friends who came to visit, and we all had to go to the town to pick up and drop off." ”
The change in Huangxiaogen village did not happen overnight.
