"Wushu mountains and rivers are connected by water, and Jingxiang is biased against the map Xiong. Yun Chang Thousand Years of Heroic Soul is there, Jiang Zuo who orders the number Amun. ——" Three Kingdoms Zhi Shu Shu Shu Shu

Guan Yu is a well-known general, with countless famous generals in Chinese history, but the only one who can be compared with "Wensheng" Confucius is "Wusheng" Guan Yu. Whether it is Guan Yu in the historical records or Guan Yu in the legend of Yanyi, it can be called the invincible and invincible, but the hero also has a twilight time.
In 220 AD, after Guan Yu defeated Maicheng, he was captured by Eastern Wu and ruthlessly killed. Sun Quan also ordered someone to cut off Guan Yu's head and give it to Cao Cao, who buried Guan Yu's head in Luoyang with the courtesy of princes, and built a temple to sacrifice, which is the "Guan Lin" that we worship today.
In fact, the title of "Guanlin" has evolved after a long history, and generally speaking, the highest-standard tombs can only be called "mausoleums", such as the imperial tomb group of the Qing Dynasty "Dingdong Mausoleum", as well as the burial place of Zhu Yuanzhang and Empress Ma of the Ming Dynasty, "Xiaoling" and so on.
In the tenth year of Jiajing in the Ming Dynasty, Guan Yu's tomb was expanded and initially called "Guan Ling", enjoying the honor of emperor level. By the fifth year of the Kangxi Dynasty, Guan Yu was enthroned as "Zhongyi Shen Wu Guan Sheng Emperor Lin", referred to as "Guan Lin", so the "Guan Emperor Mausoleum" was also changed to "Guan Lin", which is a supreme honor.
Before Guan Yu, the tomb could be called "Lin" by Confucius, and the theory of "Lin" even began with Confucius. After the death of Confucius, its address was Confucius Shou Mausoleum, in order to commemorate Confucius they planted a lot of trees around Confucius's cemetery, and over time these trees became forests, so there was the saying "Kong Lin", symbolizing that the incense will never stop, prosperity and prosperity.
Guanlin is the only building in China where the tomb, temple and forest are integrated, but Guanlin was expanded on the basis of the Guanmiao Temple in the Han Dynasty, and in the 20th year of the Wanli Dynasty (1592), the Ming Dynasty decided to expand the Guanyu Temple to a hall of more than 200 acres, and after the completion of the temple, the Wanli 33rd (1605) year sealed Guan Yu "Three Realms Voldemort Emperor Shenweiyuan Town Guansheng Emperor".
In the Qing Dynasty, it was also valued. Not only was it renamed "Guanlin", but the temple as a whole was greatly repaired, for example, the "Weiyang Liuhe" at the gate of Guanlin was written by Empress Dowager Cixi herself. There is also the denomination of the Bronze Statue Hall of Guan Yu that was proposed by the Qianlong Emperor himself.
In 1979, however, a torrential rain fell in Luoyang, causing a small flood. A place called Guanzhuang Village, located in the east of the town of Yanshi City, was flooded. Guanzhuang Village was originally called Pan'ou Village, and it was precisely because of the construction of the Guandi Mausoleum that it was renamed "Guanzhuang Village".
After the flood broke out, an ancient tomb buried for a thousand years was washed away by the flood, and after the flood faded, experts went to check and found an object in the tomb, making the experts shout that it was impossible.
The tomb has been excavated, but much remains. In the tomb, experts found a skull with two tiger head cards next to it. This makes experts speculate that this tomb that was washed away is the burial place of Guan Yu in the earliest days. Through inquiry, the experts found a stone stele in Guanzhuang Village. The words "Tomb of Guan Yu" are inscribed on it. Obviously, this is the real tomb of Guan Yu, and the experts directly shouted: "We worshiped the wrong 1800 years."
