The Beijing Municipal Health Commission has just released the news that from 0:00 to 24:00 on January 2, there were no new locally confirmed cases, suspected cases and asymptomatic infected people in Beijing; there were 4 new imported confirmed cases, no new suspected cases and asymptomatic infected people. 2 cases were cured and discharged from hospital.

Confirmed case 1: Chinese nationality, arrived at Beijing Capital Airport from Sweden on January 1, after health screening and nucleic acid testing by customs, sent to the centralized isolation hotel through closed-loop management, reported positive nucleic acid test results on the same day, and transferred on January 2

In the designated hospital, the results of the epidemiological history, clinical manifestations, laboratory tests and imaging examinations were combined, and the confirmed case was diagnosed on the same day, and the clinical classification was mild.

Confirmed case 2: Chinese nationality, arrived at Beijing Capital Airport from Sweden on January 1, after health screening and nucleic acid testing, the customs was sent to the centralized isolation hotel through closed-loop management, the nucleic acid test result was reported positive on the same day, transferred to the designated hospital on January 2, comprehensive epidemiological history, clinical manifestations, laboratory tests and imaging tests and other results, diagnosed as a confirmed case on the same day, and the clinical classification was ordinary type.

Confirmed case 3: Chinese nationality, departed from the United Kingdom via Sweden on December 9, 2021, arrived at Beijing Capital Airport on December 11, 2021, after health screening and nucleic acid testing by customs, sent to the centralized isolation hotel through closed-loop management, reported positive nucleic acid test results on January 1, 2022, transferred to designated hospitals on January 2, 2022, comprehensive epidemiological history, clinical manifestations, laboratory tests and imaging tests and other results, diagnosed as a confirmed case on the same day, the clinical classification is mild.

Confirmed case 4: Chinese nationality, arrived at Beijing Capital Airport from Thailand on December 29, 2021, after health screening and nucleic acid testing by customs, sent to the centralized isolation hotel through closed-loop management, reported positive nucleic acid test results on January 2, 2022, transferred to designated hospitals, comprehensive epidemiological history, clinical manifestations, laboratory tests and imaging tests and other results, diagnosed as a confirmed case on the same day, clinical classification is mild.

Epidemiological investigations have been carried out on the above-mentioned confirmed cases, and control measures have been implemented as required.
