(Winter Olympics asked "Ji") The "youngest" ski competition turned out to be related to surfing?

In 1998, the 18th Winter Olympics were held in Nagano, Japan, and snowboarding was included in the official competition of the Winter Olympics, becoming the "youngest" skiing competition in the Winter Olympics.

Snowboarding originated in the United States in the 1960s, and its production was associated with skateboarding and surfing.

It is understood that at that time, a ski enthusiast modeled on a sea surfboard and made a piece of ski for his child, named "Snafer", which means snow surfing. At that time, the so-called "snow surfing" was actually just for children to step on skis and pull ropes and slide on the snow.

In the 1970s, snowboarding took off through further improvements to gameplay and equipment, and was listed as an official sport at the 1998 Winter Olympics in Nagano.

Snowboards are inherently flexible, so players can easily make many jumps, take-offs and spins, and can make a big splash on U-shaped slots, various irons, and jumping platforms, even if they do big slaloms and small slaloms on wide and straight skis, they have a little more freedom and freedom than skiing.

The Beijing 2022 Winter Olympics Snowboard Competition will be held at Genting Ski Park and Shougang Ski Jump, resulting in a total of 11 gold medals. Genting Ski Park competes in all snowboarding events except for the men's and women's big jumps. (Arranged by Li Jing)
