In the 1970s, the No. 7 Middle School in Fuzhou City, Fujian Province, was preparing to expand the playground, and during the construction process, an underground tomb was excavated, and archaeologists who heard the news rushed to the scene. During the investigation, the experts found a robbery hole in the left burial chamber, and the coffin was rotten and had no archaeological value, at which point the archaeological team pinned their hopes on the right burial chamber.

The right burial chamber is well preserved, and after cleaning, the experts found the epitaph and three coffins, and learned the true identity of the tomb owner. The male tomb owner is Zhao Youjun of the Southern Song Dynasty, and the female tomb owner is his wife Huang Sheng and the stepmother Li Shi. The coffins of Zhao and Jun and the stepmother Li shi have rotted, and only Huang Sheng's is still well preserved. Zhao youjun was the eleventh grandson of Zhao Kuangyin, and Huang Sheng's father, Huang Pu, was a champion during the Southern Song Dynasty, and was an official in Quanzhou Zhizhou and tiju City.

Due to his noble status, Huang Sheng's funeral varieties are numerous, but to the surprise of experts, there are 354 pieces of funerary clothing found in Huang Sheng's coffin, covering the four seasons of spring, summer, autumn and winter. Not only formal clothes, plainclothes, pajamas, satin aya, underwear, etc. are all available. Experts also can't help but sigh: "This is the dress of a noble woman in the Song Dynasty!" "And the craftsmanship of this batch of clothing is very superb." Experts also said that this is the only Southern Song Dynasty embroidery product with complete embroidery technology found in China.

In the Song Dynasty, the silk, linen, wool textile industry and embroidery were very developed.
