On December 30th, Su Jianfei, vice mayor of the municipal government, and Qi Jianwei, deputy director of the Organization Department, accompanied Professor Liu Luning of the School of Management of Harbin Institute of Technology and his party to our town to hold a discussion and exchange meeting on rural revitalization and grass-roots governance. Zhao Qingzhang, secretary of the town party committee, Wang Xin, deputy secretary of the party committee and mayor of the town, some first secretaries stationed in villages and village party secretaries attended.
At the forum, Zhao Qingzhang, secretary of the party committee of Shiyan Town, welcomed and thanked the arrival of the research group of HIT, and introduced in detail the overall situation of the town, rural revitalization and development, and the relevant situation of social grass-roots governance. Professor Liu Luning introduced the theme and original intention of the Harbin Institute of Technology research group. The participating branch secretaries conducted in-depth exchanges and discussions on the problems existing in the governance of the village and the research group in combination with the actual situation of the village. With the theme of promoting rural revitalization, the research group put forward specific guidance for the revitalization of rural areas and grass-roots governance in our town from five aspects: industrial prosperity, ecological livability, civilized rural style, effective governance, and affluent life.
Vice Mayor Su Jianfei pointed out that towns and villages should fully understand the importance of rural revitalization work, focus on the 20-character policy of rural revitalization strategy, and focus on the five major aspects of rural revitalization to implement local policies and take advantage of the situation; pay attention to ecological protection while developing industries, improve the level of ecology, and achieve the joint combination of ecological livability and industrial development; further exert their advantages, innovate and explore more and better governance carriers and platforms, and provide more experience for the rural governance system under digital empowerment.
