Southeast Network January 1 (Reporter Chen Nan) This morning, the "Art Sea Rongwu - Chen Weixin's 30 Years of Art Exhibition" opened in Fuzhou. This exhibition takes the 30 years of study, creation and collection creation of Chen Weixin, a master of arts and crafts in Fujian Province, as the content, and through the combing of his artistic experience and growth process in the past 30 years, it reflects the epitome of the younger generation of Shoushan stone carving artists since the 1990s.

At the opening ceremony of the exhibition, the "For the New Seal Button Art Museum" was opened, and Chen Weixin's research monograph "Art Sea Rongwu - Research and Inheritance of Ming and Qing Shoushan Stone Seal Button Carving" was also released at the scene.

The event was sponsored by China Shoushan Stone Culture Development Research Center, Fujian Folk Writers Association, Fujian Provincial Arts and Crafts Research Institute, supported by Fujian Shoushan Stone Culture and Art Research Association, Fuzhou Shoushan Stone Industry Association and other units, organized by the Youth Committee of Fujian Folk Writers Association, and co-organized by China Shoushan Stone Museum. The event was presided over by Yu Weiping, vice chairman of the Fujian Folk Writers Association and president of the Fujian Academy of Arts and Crafts.

"For the New Seal Button Art Museum" is an art exhibition hall with the theme of seal culture and art, located at the foot of Wushi Mountain, a famous Cultural Scenic Spot in Fuzhou, adjacent to Sanfang And Seven Alleys, with an area of about 300 square meters and a rich collection. In this exhibition, a total of 242 works of various types of printing buttons from the Southern and Northern Dynasties to the contemporary era are exhibited, including 43 objects from the Southern and Northern Dynasties to the Republic of China, 186 works by Chen Weixin, and 13 sludge manuscripts. Moreover, the printing button material is diverse, not only the Most Familiar Shoushan Stone in Fujian, but also the soft printing stone of other materials. In addition, there are also button works under different material systems such as amber, crystal, ivory, and Dehua porcelain, which can make button lovers feast their eyes and fully appreciate the extraordinary artistic charm of Chinese buttons.

According to reports, Chen Weixin began to engage in the creation of printing buttons in 1992, under the guidance of Chinese arts and crafts master Pan Jingshi, who was good at engraving buttons and animals, especially ancient animals. In his 30-year artistic career, he has visited well-known grottoes, cliff carvings and other carving art classics in China, and visited museums and well-known collectors around the world. Over the past 30 years, through the study and study of thousands of Shoushan stone art treasures and many historical documents, he has realized the connotation of "the sea of art, accommodating all things", only by seeing more and hearing more, gathering nutrients from different fields, can he glimpse the true interest of art.

Chen Weixin said: "Inherit the ancient rhyme, attack the ancient art. It is hoped that through this exhibition, more young people will be attracted to enter and get closer to the traditional Chinese art of printing buttons and the art of Shoushan stone carving, meet different teachers and scholars, contact different art forms, and then integrate and penetrate, so that this ancient art can be better passed on and renewed for a long time. He said that "For the new printing button art museum" is not only a display space for works, but also a platform for artistic exchange, skill exchange and transmission.
