Discipline first

In August 1934, Ji Shouxian returned to China to lead the work of the Anti-Japanese Arson Regiment, headquartered in Shanghai, with dalian, Fengtian (now Shenyang), Andong (now Dandong), North China and Korea, Japan and other important cities as the goal, dispatched personnel to various places, developed members, established organizations, and commanded the anti-Japanese arson regiments in various places to organize activities. Explosives and burns important facilities such as military buildings and military materials of the Japanese invading forces in China's coastal areas. From 1935 to 1940, Ji Shouxian successively commanded explosions and set fires to 78 times, of which 57 were organized in the Dalian area, and 250,000 sets of military sweaters and pants were burned; about 60,000 barrels of paraffin and oil stored in warehouses 15 and 16 of Ganjingzi Manhua Petroleum Co., Ltd.; and the burning of grain products was innumerable. The total value is about 20 million yen, which is enough for the 60,000 or 70,000 people of the two divisions of the Japanese army to meet throughout the year.

In June 1940, the "Anti-Japanese Arson Regiment" was sabotaged by the Japanese colonial authorities, and on August 15, Ji Shouxian was arrested in the Shanghai Concession and imprisoned in Lushun Prison. Ji Shouxian was imprisoned in a dark, damp, dark prison with no fingers in sight, and endured many tortures, but he was always unyielding. Filled with righteous indignation, Ji Shouxian resolutely bit his finger and wrote poems dipped in blood with a broom, denouncing the enemy, encouraging his comrades-in-arms, and waging a resolute struggle against the enemy.

On December 9, 1942, Ji Shouxian went to the execution ground in awe and generously sacrificed his life for the country, at the age of 32.

Let us remember the names of the martyrs and remember their noble spirit from the verses left behind in prison.

Ji Shouxian's poems in prison

"Man Jiang Hong" two songs

Anger filled the chest, could not hold back, full of hatred. Hateful that, the traitor's lackey, the traitor's traitor. Betraying the nation for his own interests and framing comrades for the enemy's amusement. Loss of conscience, disregard for honesty and shame, children and grandchildren are in trouble. Absolutely the same kind, betraying ancestors; trafficking in human life, spending blood money. Willing to be a dog slave and sabotage the War of Resistance. The crowd was angry and ate the flesh of the thief, and the anger of the crowd stripped the dog's heart and liver alive. Oath to kill, imperialists, fulfill the wish!

The country is broken and the family is destroyed, and the nation hates and does not share the heavens. Rise up, rebel against the great waves, the tide of revolution. Armed millions of workers and peasants, resisted the strong enemy for five or six years. We must survive, not be afraid of fighting for a long time, and fight to the death. When you are imprisoned, your will is stronger; your head can be broken, but your will will not turn. Watch the enemy get discouraged and in a dilemma. Iron blood rushed away from the freedom road and bravely broke the victory barrier. Established, the Chinese Soviet, no regrets!

Reading the poems of the martyrs, I seem to see the revolutionary martyrs' righteousness looking up at the sky and smiling, and the arrogance still exists forever! Reading the poems of the martyrs, I am reminded of the next popular saying - the years are quiet. So what are the years of silence? In order to build a new China, many revolutionary martyrs shed blood and sacrificed; for the sake of the motherland's strength, how many people with lofty ideals carried the burden forward.
