In 2017, when the Li Zijian Art Museum completed its great transformation - with a voluntary gift to the Xiangjiang New Area in Hunan Province, this new modern public welfare art museum ushered in a vigorous development. It is supported by the annual special collection of xiangjiang new area finance. As a result, the "collection business" of Li Zijian Art Museum was implemented and officially entered the track.
In the past four years, from the various types of art exhibitions held successively, the art museum has collected outstanding and representative works of many artists at home and abroad from all over the country and even the United States, Italy, Russia and so on. The establishment of four collection warehouses in accordance with international standards has recently been completed, so that all the works in the museum's collection have been safe since then.
The exhibition of works in the collection of Li Zijian Art Museum, with five temporary exhibition halls, spiritual space and public space, has become the largest grand exhibition in the five years since its opening.
For the first time, 600 masterpieces from the museum's collection were gathered together for a comprehensive art exhibition integrating Chinese paintings, oil paintings, prints, sculptures, watercolors, drawings, calligraphy, multimedia materials, installations, and children's works, which welcomed the audience for review.
From January 1, 2022 to February 15, 2022, from New Year's Day to Lantern Festival, the exhibition will provide a cultural feast and an artistic feast for the Star City of Changsha.
