"At present, we have mastered the core technology of the leading hydrogen fuel cell in China, opened up the complete hydrogen energy industry chain, and ranked among the first echelons of the future hydrogen energy industry." On December 28, He Peifa, assistant general manager and director of the management center of Henan Yu Hydrogen Power Co., Ltd., said proudly.

Xinxiang is known as the "capital of China's battery industry", as a high-tech enterprise dedicated to the research and development and production of hydrogen fuel cells, Yu Hydrogen Power is located in the building of Henan Battery Research Institute in Xinxiang. In the results exhibition hall, He Peifa showed reporters the most basic membrane electrode assembly. It looks like an inconspicuous "black invitation", but it is a "passport" to enter the core field of hydrogen fuel cells.

At first glance, the membrane electrodes are very similar to the diaphragms used to store electrical energy in lithium batteries. "A membrane electrode is the equivalent of a miniature engine that converts hydrogen and oxygen into electrical molecules and water." He Peifa explained that the superposition of more than 400 membrane electrode assemblies into the protective shell is a high-power hydrogen fuel cell stack, and then installed with control system components, which is a set of hydrogen fuel cell engines.

At present, Yu hydrogen power has developed a variety of fuel cell engine products with strong power, high efficiency, good adaptability and long life, and has in-depth cooperation with domestic host enterprises such as Zhengzhou Yutong, Weichai Power, state grid, etc., and has applied hydrogen energy and fuel cell frontier fields such as buses, heavy trucks, locomotives, combined heat and power generation, wind and photovoltaic power generation energy storage peak shaving, and has achieved the successful operation of system design, equipment supply and demonstration projects.

Under the relevant policies and resource support of the provincial government and Xinxiang City, Xinxiang Hydrogen Energy Industrial Park has 9 core component enterprises settled in, basically forming a regional layout of "Zhengzhou Kaifeng Vehicle Driven + Luoyang Hydrogen Energy Equipment + Xinxiang Core Components and Hydrogen Energy Equipment + Anyang Jiaozuo Hydrogen Source Guarantee".

He Peifa said that based on scientific and technological innovation to lay out future industries in advance, and continue to exert hydrogen energy and hydrogen fuel cell core technologies and industrial chains, Henan will firmly grasp the initiative in the development of the hydrogen energy industry in the future.
