On December 30th, the "Smart" permanent exhibition hall of China Science and Technology Museum was unveiled, with 32 wonderful and cool interactive exhibits, leading the audience into the futuristic world of intelligent robots.
Before entering the exhibition hall, the melodious guzheng song is fascinating. In the exhibition hall, the guzheng robot is sitting in front of the guzheng, playing in a similar way; in a flexible stroke, familiar music such as "My Motherland and Me" and "Song of the Seven Sons" pours out from the "fingertips". This is not all the skills of the guzheng robot, it can also be improvised according to the music composed by the audience on the spot. In addition to robots that can play guzheng, the robots in the exhibition hall can be described as "all-encompassing in piano, chess, calligraphy and painting": mosaic sketching robots paint portraits, calligraphy robots are busy splashing ink, and "absolute art" robots are showing chess skills... In addition to humanoid robots, special robots are also particularly eye-catching, and bionic fish robots, robotic dogs, pipeline robots, etc. represent the most cutting-edge artificial intelligence scientific and technological achievements in China are also concentrated in the exhibition hall.
Wang Erchao, senior engineer and curator of the exhibition design center, introduced that most of the robots exhibited in the exhibition are used for industrial production, in order to narrow the distance between the robot and the audience, the staff has carried out a certain degree of transformation of the robot, so that the audience can feel the convenience and change brought by artificial intelligence technology to human production and life in more interactive games as much as possible.
The "Smart" permanent exhibition hall is set up with the setting "Hey! Robot", "Extraordinary", "Witty", "Intelligent Life", "Robot Show" 5 permanent exhibition areas. It is worth mentioning that in order to closely track the latest developments, the exhibition hall has innovatively set up a short-term exhibition area for "tracking the frontier" new technologies, which builds a display platform for the latest technological achievements of scientific research institutes and enterprises in the field of robotics and artificial intelligence. The first short-term exhibition in the exhibition area was launched by the China Science and Technology Museum in cooperation with Tencent, the exhibition name is "Tencent T-DAY", which brings together Tencent's latest research results and novel and interesting applications in the field of artificial intelligence, and the exhibition period is from December 30, 2021 to December 30, 2022. In the future, the short-term exhibition area of "Tracking the Frontier" new technology will be updated regularly.
