The exhibition is guided by the Beijing Winter Olympics Organizing Committee and is jointly planned by the Science and Technology Museum, the Capital Institute of Physical Education, Beijing Institute of Technology and other units. The exhibition focuses on the history and development of ice and snow sports and the Winter Olympic Games, the scientific principles in ice and snow sports, scientific and technological innovation to help Beijing host the Olympic Games, the sustainable development of the city after the Winter Olympic Games, etc., planning and designing five theme exhibition areas of "Winter Olympic Covenant", "Charm of Ice and Snow", "Secret of Sports", "Power of Science and Technology" and "City of the Future", as well as three exhibition and exchange areas of the prologue hall, the winter Paralympic Games exhibition area, and the educational activity area, through the full use of modern technical means such as 5G, 4K, VR, etc., to create a participatory, interactive, The world of ice and snow of the Winter Olympics can be experienced.
During the theme month activities, the Science and Technology Museum will also hold a series of interactive experience activities with a variety of fun. For example, the "Exhibition Hall Exploration Space" will launch the "Science of Ice and Snow Sports" online theme activities, combined with friction, fluid resistance and other knowledge points, in-depth analysis of the scientific principles behind ice and snow sports; "Science Experience Camp" will carry out "Science and Technology Winter Olympics" experience camp and other activities; "Light and Shadow Science Show" will also launch "I have a movie date with the Winter Olympics" online science parent-child film fan salon activities, so that the audience can understand ice and snow sports in light and shadow.
