Founded in 1990, Yumen Museum is now a national second-class museum, responsible for the collection, storage and restoration, exhibition, scientific research and other functions of historical relics and folk cultural relics in the Yumen area. In order to further enrich the collection, enrich the types and forms of collections, improve the quantity and quality of collections, treasure the collective memory of the nation, preserve the genes of national culture, hold various exhibitions, promote exchanges and mutual learning between civilizations inside and outside the city, tell the story of Yumen well, and enhance the taste of the city, after research, the Yumen City Museum has decided to open the collection to the whole society, and hereby announces the following:

1. Scope of Solicitation

(1) Collections of ancient cultural relics

1. Important physical evidence reflecting the social systems, production and life of various eras and ethnic groups in Yumen, Jiuquan and even outside the region.

2. Important historical figures, including politicians, military experts, thinkers, scientists, cultural celebrities, religious figures and other important cultural relics and works.

3. Precious works of art from various historical periods in ancient times.

4. Important physical evidence reflecting the socio-economic changes and scientific and technological development in ancient times.

5. Precious physical evidence reflecting ancient Chinese and foreign cultural exchanges.

(2) Collections of modern and contemporary cultural relics

1. Physical evidence reflecting major events, important meetings and important figures affecting the process of social and economic development in yumen in modern and contemporary times.

2. Important physical evidence reflecting the political, economic, social, cultural, ecological civilization and military, scientific, technological, educational, health, sports, religious and other aspects of Yumen in modern and contemporary times.

3. Important physical evidence reflecting the social development, living customs, culture, art and religious beliefs of various ethnic groups in Yumen in modern and contemporary times.

(3) Informal publications

1. Informal publications reflecting the development process of various organs, enterprises and institutions in Yumen since the founding of the People's Republic of China.

2. Informal publications reflecting the social development, cultural inheritance, customs and customs of various ethnic groups in Yumen.

3. Informal publications reflecting the development status of various industry associations, societies, foundations and other institutions in Yumen.

Photographs, films, copies, video tapes, audio tapes, CDs and other audio-visual products;

Rare currencies, stamps;

Important representative cards, attendance cards, certificates, certificates, seals, medals, badges, awards, good news, medals, stamps and other badges;

National flag, military flag, award flag, ship flag, team flag, pennant flag, greeting flag and other flags;

Compilation of documents, compilation of materials, speeches of leaders, rules and regulations, planning plans, scientific research reports, etc. of government agencies, enterprises and public institutions; discussion drafts and collections of papers of national and international conferences; writings, historical materials, genealogies, genealogies, etc. of famous people; memoirs, letters, notes, diaries, etc. of those who witnessed major events.

(4) All production and daily necessities in modern and contemporary times that reflect the Yumen Oilfield, the Agricultural Reclamation Regiment Farm, the Gansu Mining Area, railway transportation, urban and rural construction, the "Four Histories", and the development process and achievements of folk customs.

3. Solicitation Requirements

(1) Strictly follow the Law of the People's Republic of China on the Protection of Cultural Relics, the Regulations on the Implementation of the Law of the People's Republic of China on the Protection of Cultural Relics, the Charity Law of the People's Republic of China, the Regulations on Museums, and other laws and regulations.

(2) Ensure the legality of the source of the collection, and the provider shall bear legal and economic responsibility for the legality commitment of the collection.

(3) The collection information provided by the provider must be a collection that has not entered the collection process of any unit, and the batch of collection information shall not be provided to a third party before receiving the results of the collection of our library.

(4) The collection collection process shall be carried out in accordance with the procedures stipulated in the Measures for the Administration of the Collection of Yumen Museum, and all collections that determine the intention to collect shall complete all the procedures in accordance with the regulations before signing the relevant agreements.

(5) Applicants may send it to the designated mailbox by e-mail and fill in the "Collection Collection Mapping Form"; after confirmation of selection, notify the collector to provide the collection in kind, and after appraisal and assessment, agree on the specific collection matters. Collections that are identified as not meeting the requirements for collection shall be returned in accordance with legal procedures. Submissions of information materials will not be returned.

4. Solicitation methods

(1) Donations. Our museum advocates and encourages social groups and individuals to donate collections free of charge. After the collection is reviewed and evaluated by the experts of the Gansu Provincial Cultural Relics Appraisal Committee, it is determined to be a donation collection, and a collection certificate is issued to the donor. All donated collections will be registered by our library and will be collected permanently.

(2) Lending and reproduction. For collections that the collector is unwilling or unable to transfer ownership, on the basis of their voluntariness, they shall be loaned or copied in a manner with unchanged ownership;

(3) Acquisitions. Under the premise of complying with national laws and regulations, adhere to the principle of voluntary collection. For well-preserved collections with high research value, after being examined and approved by the leading group for the collection of cultural relics of our museum, the expert appraisal and assessment of the Provincial Cultural Relics Appraisal Committee shall be requisitioned in strict accordance with the procedures of the "Implementation Plan for the Collection of Cultural Relics of the Yumen Museum", and the requisition price shall not be higher than the expert valuation.

(4) Other solicitation methods provided for by laws and regulations.

(5) After the selection and decision to collect, the units and individuals who donate cultural relics will be issued with a donation certificate or collection certificate, and will be remembered and rewarded in an appropriate manner.
