The 10 millionth engine off the production line of Yuchai Group is the first record of 10 million units in the field of diesel engines in China, and it is also an important milestone in the history of the development of China's internal combustion engine industry.

According to reports, the YCK05 hydrogen-fired engine for commercial vehicles that was successfully ignited a few days ago has been successfully and stably operated, and the effective thermal efficiency is comparable to that of hydrogen fuel cell power. The YCK15 heavy-duty hydrogen-fired engine for heavy-duty truck applications is expected to ignite in the first half of 2022. The research and development of hydrogen-fired engines enables Yuchai System to master the relevant core key technologies, and the system solves the possible reliability problems in the operation of hydrogen-fired engines. The hydrogen-fired engine released by Yuchai marks a key step in Mastering the key technology of large-scale and low-cost utilization of hydrogen energy, making Yuchai an enterprise with the most traditional power, new energy power technology route and the richest technical reserve in China's internal combustion engine industry, and truly realizing the traditional power and new energy power two-wheel drive. The joint development of the two technical routes of hydrogen-fired engine and fuel cell technology will promote Yuchai to occupy a greater development advantage in the era of hydrogen energy.

In the upcoming 2021, in addition to making breakthroughs in core technologies, Yuchai has also made remarkable achievements in overseas market development. From January to November 2021, the number of entries was 35,406 units, an increase of 33% year-on-year; of which ASEAN countries entered 19,719 units, an increase of 69% year-on-year.
