It is understood that the first car will be Geely's new Atlas Pro, which debuted in the Russian market this summer and is well known to consumers. The new Atlas Pro will be powered by a 1.5-liter turbocharged engine, Aisin's 6-speed automatic transmission, front-wheel drive, and a 48V EMS hybrid system, which provides more power for driving and saves more than 15% fuel. The car will be officially launched in Russia in the first half of 2022, and the price has not yet been disclosed.
At present, Atlas Pro is only available in four-wheel drive versions, and there are two models, namely Flagship and Flagship+. Equipped with a 1.5-liter turbocharged engine with a maximum power of 177 horsepower, matching a 7DCT wet-clutch automatic transmission, and an all-wheel drive system with an electronically controlled clutch, it is priced at 2.06 million rubles (about 178,400 yuan), and the price of the front-drive version should be reduced.
In the second half of next year, Geely will launch a medium-sized SUV in the Russian market, codenamed KX11, that is, the domestic Geely Xingyue L, which was launched in China in July this year, based on the Geely CMA platform architecture, equipped with a 2.0T high/low power engine of the Drive-E series, equipped with a high-power engine of 2.0TD, matching the Aisin 8AT transmission, with a maximum power of 175kW and a maximum torque of 350N·m It is equipped with a 2.0T medium power engine with a maximum power of 160 kW and a maximum torque of 325 N·m, matching a seven-speed wet dual-clutch transmission.
In addition, Geely will prepare four other new models of different sizes for Russia, of which 2 new cars will be unveiled in 2023 and 2 will be unveiled in 2024.
It is reported that Geely's Russian dealers sold 2826 vehicles in November, an increase of 40% year-on-year. In total, in the first 11 months of 2021, Geely Cars sold 22,479 units in Russia, up 63 percent year-on-year, geely news agencies reported.
