The open-world RPG ELEX2 will be more dynamic and react faster than its predecessors

Although ELEX 1 didn't catch fire, there's a lot to be appreciated about its content. Gorgeous worlds, interesting explorations, high degrees of freedom, and moving branch narratives have attracted many people to join. However, players embark on an adventure to find that real-time combat development is not deep, which makes people feel a bit sluggish. This raises concerns about whether ELEX 2 will also have this problem. Fortunately, the developers appeared in time to dispel their doubts.

The open-world RPG ELEX2 will be more dynamic and react faster than its predecessors

Developer Piranha Bytes said in an interview with foreign media Twinifinite that they have absorbed player feedback and invested a lot of energy in the new combat system of ELEX 2. The new game will be more dynamic, able to respond quickly to information entered by players, and react faster than the previous generation. They did a lot of testing to take the system to the next level.

The advantage of the new combat system is flexibility, you can lure enemies, quickly attack or dodge, etc., in short, there are different ways to defeat enemies. The official goal is to provide players with a highly entertaining experience, not to punish them for not reacting correctly.

ELEX 2 is the sequel to the classic open-world RPG ELEX and will take us back to the post-apocalyptic sci-fi world of Margaraland – using a jetpack to explore freely in unparalleled expanses and experience epic story as you please. ELEX 2 will have over 100 enemy types, five factions will have more than 300 NPCs, and it will take about 60 hours for players to fully complete the level.

ELEX 2 will be released on March 2, 2022, landing on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, XSX/S and PC platforms.
