Take the pottery pot I introduced to you today, we can see at a glance that they come from the plant gourd, and maybe it will produce whose gourd is old like this and is put out as a cultural relic. 匏 is a name for gourd by the ancients. In ancient China, the gourd was called 匏, 瓤, jug, and later also known as hulu, Pulu, Hulu, Dagger and so on.
The pot on display in the "Haiyu Youtong - Guangzhou Qin and Han Archaeological Achievements Exhibition" was excavated in 2004 from the construction site of the Dry Rest House in the Guangzhou Garrison District on Yongfu Road, and is a typical vessel for holding water and wine. The shape is not much different from the dried melon, and the vessel has a small mouth, an inverted neck, a large abdomen, and is a container for wine or water. The other two pieces are the Tao Four-legged Pot excavated in 2004 in Yuzigang, Huaqiao Elementary School, and the Tao Pot excavated in 1983 in the tomb of the Nanyue King in Xianggang.
