Foxconn spent a lot of money to recruit workers in Zhengzhou, suspected of being helpless to return to China to expand production because of the disturbances of Indian workers

December 26 news, according to media reports, Foxconn Zhengzhou factory recently launched a large-scale recruitment, in this round of recruitment, the recommender reward 500 yuan, job seeker reward 8500 yuan to 9500 yuan, the total bonus up to 10,000 yuan. Why is Foxconn so generous lately?

In Foxconn's Zhengzhou plant, recruiting workers has always been a top priority. This huge factory is the world's largest iPhone foundry production base, and Apple's orders determine the peak production season. In order to quickly recruit more people, Foxconn often uses the most direct method. In addition to the salary, bonuses are issued "rebates", and if you want to get the money, you have to complete the time limit. The price given by the Zhengzhou factory was the highest when the total bonus was 12700 yuan. In the off-season, the rebate is only 500 yuan.

Foxconn's last large-scale recruitment was in September, when the Zhengzhou factory said in the recruitment publicity that it had entered the peak period of mass production of new models, and by the end of September, the demand for new workers was 200,000. This time Foxconn has launched a large-scale recruitment, mainly to produce and stock the iPhone 13 series new machine in advance.

But this time it doesn't seem like it's accidental, Reuters said production of the iPhone 12 in India has been halted due to a food poisoning incident at Foxconn's Chennai plant. In addition, Apple plans to produce iPhone 13 models in the Chennai factory in India, and it is clear that Foxconn's Zhengzhou factory also produces iPhone 13 models, so it is likely that Foxconn originally wanted to produce iPhone 13 models in the Chennai factory in India and then switched back to the Zhengzhou factory.

According to foreign media reports, Indian officials revealed that Apple supplier Foxconn's factory near Chennai, India, will continue to close for three days. Last week the plant had been shut down for a week due to protests sparked by food poisoning. Of course, this is beneficial to Foxconn's Zhengzhou factory, in fact, Foxconn's Indian factory is still competing with the Zhengzhou factory for jobs, but it can't grab it.
