LG, the leader of large-size consumer OLED screens, has launched new and fun concept OLED products, this time OLED Shelf, Shopping Managing Showcase, Show Window and Smart Window. It is worth noting that these products do not use a general screen, but a transparent OLED screen.
OLED Shelf is a shelf pregnancy type product, but unlike the general shelf, it is connected to the bottom of the 2 transparent OLED screen, of which the upper one is 55 inches, with 40% transparency, can be used as an ordinary TV, and the screen below is used to watch weather reports, news and other information or updates. Users can also choose to keep the TV on for a long time to display some artwork pictures. LG told Techradar that the strength of the shelf itself can put at most some vases and other gadgets, all for the purpose of ornamentation, so it should be impossible to fill the book. The OLED Shelf is ready for commercial production, but LG says it needs to find a partner to build and sell the system.
If the OLED Shelf is for home use, then the show Window is commercial. This product is a combination of four 55-inch transparent OLED screens that can be used for window display in stores. Merchants can display more information about the product on show Windows while displaying the actual product, and even create cool visuals to attract consumers to stop.
Shopping Managing Showcase is actually a miniature version of the Show Window above in my opinion, because it is also used to display products, and it can also display more information about products on the screen or add additional visual effects.
There is still a lot of time to go before the official opening of CES 2022, so we can also expect LG to launch more interesting new products.
