Two generations of powerful actors in Hebei Zizi sang "Huaya Canal" together

Supported by the Beijing Culture and Art Fund and created and performed by the Beijing Hebei Zizi Opera Troupe, the large-scale original historical drama "Huaya Canal" of Hebei Zizi premiered at the National Local Opera Performance Center on the evening of December 24, interpreting a legend of Pear Garden spanning 200 years for the audience.

Two generations of powerful actors in Hebei Zizi sang "Huaya Canal" together

"Huaya Canal" is set in the middle of the Qing Dynasty opera "The Dispute of Huaya", focusing on the main line of the characters of Yuan Xiaowei, the famous character of the Qin Dynasty, who died after experiencing the death of her loved ones, the abandonment of her lover, and the shock of watching Guan Hai, and slowly telling the audience about the past of Pear Garden, which was like a drama. The drama is written by the famous screenwriter Guo Qihong, directed by Shi Hongtu and Bai Ailian, starring Wang Hongling, a national first-class actor and winner of the "Plum Blossom Award" of Chinese drama, bringing together Wang Yinghui, winner of the "Plum Blossom Award" of Chinese drama, Zhang Sigang, Jin Minhe and other powerful actors, and the rookies of the two generations of young and middle-aged people perform on the same stage.

On the stage that night, Yuan Xiaowei, played by the lead actor Wang Hongling, firmly grasped the audience's eyes as soon as she appeared, and she debuted in the shape of Yin Bilian in a play-in-play "Fu Gui Tu Roasting Fire", showing the tenderness of the woman's admiration and the playful and flexible anger between the roasting fire to the fullest. The ignorance and simplicity of Yuan Xiaowei when she first appeared on stage formed a sharp contrast with the vicissitudes of the future, and the story of her and Bao Zhiguang was the embodiment of cross-class love in the middle of the Qing Dynasty, and the convergence and dispersion of the two composed a pear garden sad song of "life is like a play".

The simple and freehand stage also adds a lot of color to the play. The boat-type sets on the stage are split and combined, sometimes they are painting boats, sometimes they are canal docks, or garden corridors, opera stages, and there are ingenuity in the freehand. In order to truly let the audience feel the prosperity of the major opera genres under the big era, the music and singing voice also incorporate many characteristic elements, and the Qin cavity roar of the river god in the wedge opens the curtain of the whole play, and the play is also interspersed with the minor keys of Wu, Kun, Yangzhou, etc., through the singers' singing to outline different spaces and era backgrounds for the development of the story. The performance form of the play is also different from the previous Hebei Wuzi traditional drama, the whole play pays more attention to emphasizing the excavation of the characters' hearts, and the embodiment of the inner emotions is a major highlight of the play, and the transformation of light and shadow between fantasy and reality promotes the development of the whole plot.
