Doctors remind that we should pay attention to our own health, especially hepatitis B carriers, do not be careless, we must prevent, detect and treat in advance.

Xiao Li recalled that the 2019 physical examination found that he was a hepatitis B carrier. For three years, Xiao Li and her colleagues stayed in the same dormitory, ordered takeaway every day, and often ordered barbecues at night. What's worse is that Xiao Li leaves work late and loves to stay up late after returning home, often staying up until two or three o'clock in the morning or even four or five o'clock in the morning. This summer, Xiao Li felt a small lump in her right abdomen, and after a few months, the lump became larger and larger, so Xiao Li rushed to seek medical treatment. After examination, Xiao Li was diagnosed with primary liver cancer.

Fortunately, Xiao Li's physical condition is good, the tumor does not invade the adjacent organs, there is no distant metastasis, and it can be removed surgically. After preoperative examination and careful planning, He Qian, deputy chief physician of the Department of Hepatobiliary Surgery of Shenzhen University General Hospital, performed a right hemihepatic resection operation for her, which took about 3 hours and the operation was smooth. Postoperative pathology confirmed hepatocellular carcinoma. After a month of recuperation after the operation, Xiao Li's review at the Shenzhen University General Hospital showed that all indicators were ideal and he had recently returned to work. The doctor told her that in the future, she must work and rest regularly, avoid staying up late, eat a healthy diet, put an end to barbecues, smoked (including benzopyrene) foods, and regularly follow up with hospital reviews.

Li Xiaowu, director of the Department of Hepatobiliary Surgery at Shenzhen University General Hospital, reminded the public that if they have persistent fever, obvious pain in the liver, body weight loss and digestive system abnormalities, they should be vigilant against liver cancer.

At the same time, the public should pay attention to dietary hygiene, do not eat moldy and deteriorated food, especially moldy nuts and grains and cooking oil, which contain aflatoxin, is a first-class carcinogen, can directly act on the liver, easy to cause liver cancer. From 23:00 to 3:00 a.m. is the time period for liver blood, liver cells need to repair themselves and regenerate, and should be in a state of deep sleep at this time. In addition, patients with hepatitis B should strictly follow the doctor's instructions to receive antiviral drug therapy, as long as the virus replication can be controlled to avoid worsening of the disease.
